Retro Cat and Plant illustration Art Print -5 x7 Inch and 8 x 10 Inch - “I’m not spikey!”
Inspiration for this series of digital art prints was through observing during home isolation of Covid 19 pandemic. There was more time to take stock and just look at my surroundings. I noticed how my cat would seamless blend in with our home décor. At times, Cats almost seem like they are statues contributing to our home decoration. However, with this in mind, at the same time they emit an air of ownership of the house.
This piece includes Kitty joining two spiky house plants; a cactus and a mother-in-laws tongue. While a cat seems all fluffy and cute, they can deliver a sharp claw swipe at moments notice. This art piece shows a commonality between the cat and the plants. Even though, the cat is proclaiming “I’m not spiky!", we all know his little secret. Once again, I was drawn to the almost tiffany blue colour background and the complimenting green colour of the plants with the neutral shades of the cat.
Blue Green Girl prints are printed on exceptional Archival Matt paper (192gsm). The inks used are of Archival quality and with treatment as per the manufactures’ recommendations, lifespan of the print is 100 years.
Professional care and attention is taken with transferring your print to your home. Packaging of these prints are with a stiff card backing and a waterproof cello bag. Preservation of the flatness of the print is achieved with shipping it in a rigid mailer.
These prints come unframed so you can tailor choose your own frames. Due to the convenient 8 x 10 inch size, framing options are varied. This prints would suit, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, entry ways, gallery walls or even bathrooms. The decorating options are endless and will solve a décor dilemma.
